Blooming on Legacy Lane

Welcome to Legacy Lane in Murray, KY. Our yard is starting to bloom.

This is the third year for our Kentucky Bluegrass sod. It is coming in nicely and needs lots of water.

We are in the process of putting down our new mulch.

We have six Pink and Red Knockout across the front of our house. The Black Diamond Crepe Myrtles by the roses are starting to leaf.

I have two Japanese Maples, one in the front and one in the back.

Macho ferns are glowing in pots on the front porch and side of our house.

Japanese Iris are blooming.

Day Lilies are in full bloom.

Purple Silvia  blooms.

The Cherries trees were in bloom early this month. This is a barn across the street from our subdivision.

Red Bud trees blooming around the corner and in our subdivision.

More Cherry Trees in bloom.

This is how spring started in Murray. Our forsythia bloomed then we had a morning of snow and ice.

I just so happened to cut our blooming lilacs the night before the ice and snow hit.

Our large leaf blue hosta sits in with hydrangeas and other hosta.

The blue and pink hydrangea are starting to bud.

Our backyard Knockout Roses are in full bloom.

Savannah Bird Girl stands in our backyard roses the first of May.

Look how much they have grown in just a few weeks.

A beautiful sunset from my front door.
