Floral Wall Hanging



This is my sewing room in the beginning. The walls had received their first coat of paint and the hardwood flooring and cabinets have not been installed.



This is my new sewing room. I had new dark sewing cabinets made and the wall is painted Sea Pine.  I wanted to add something special to the room. I created this wall hanging using my embroidery machine. After I completed the 12 patches, I banded them together and quilted.
 

I added a batik cloth backing and trim to give it some pizazz.

Frog Cloche

Hey! I am Back! Formerly  "Jo's This and That".   I have been busy building a new house. We sold our former home too quickly and ended up scrambling to live elsewhere while construction was taking place. I have missed you all.

I plan to start blogging again.

I shared an inspiring weekend with my friend Judy aka "JBiggs's Little Pieces". We traveled to Reelfoot Lake in Northwestern Tennessee.


 

Reelfoot Lake hosts beautiful Cypress trees that protrude throughout the shoreline.

 

When I got home, I decided to bring some of the lake with me.
