We hosted a small Easter lunch for seven.
I used the vintage Fiesta in pink and the light yellow is also vintage Fiesta. My sister-in-law found light blue, the rose (light pink) and the light yellow at a flea market while visiting in Houston, Texas and was so kind to buy them for me.
Our menu included: baked ham, asparagus and squash, slaw, broccoli salad, mashed potatoes and a jello salad and homemade rolls. For dessert I made an Italian Creme Easter cake and a mandarin orange cake. Walton ware pieces were used for self serving on the island.
Relaxing after clean-up. My husband cut the Italian cake for a second piece. Then took to the couch to relax. Ernie, our cat, wasn't happy because he was not invited to the luncheon and spent the day on the porch.
Thanks for stopping by - JoAnn.

Nice table with your mix of Fiestaware.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cozy-sized table for seven :) I just love the bunny table runner and it looks so nice with all the brightly coloured plates! Looks like it was an enjoyable diner for everyone ... well, except the poor cat. Have a great week!

JoAnn, Those buns on the counter look so good. I'm looking at getting a few plates of Fiestaware in Cobalt. We had turkey for our Easter. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose are special days for sure. Your table and your kitchen are both very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe had Easter out in the country and our meal was burgers and grilled chicken. I love this time of year!
