Hope you have had a great week!
Before I show my new peacock, I wanted to show you my new dining room.
The floor is dark maple banded with light oak. I added a gray shag rug under the table. |
I used my old chicory cherry dining room furniture
from the Thomasville's River Road Collections.
My new style is called Modern Eclectic. I have been mixing old pieces that I love with new finds.
This is my new focal point. I just love these peacocks. My friend Judy (JBigg's Little Pieces) and I found these while out shopping the other day. |
Throughout the house, I have added turquoise as my accent color. |
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my new dining room. Come back. I trying to post each week. Hi JoAnn,
ReplyDeleteOh, what spectacular meals you'll serve in this gorgeous room! I love the turquoise accents. Thanks for sharing.
Have a Happy Blue Monday!
The elegant peacocks look great with the Galveston gray, I went there many times as a child. I like the painting, too, and such a high ceiling! No wonder the painters needed scaffolding.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ceilings and paint color. Love the grays. Such a good color for the dining room. Of course, I love the peacocks and the plate.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe how many bloggers are using turquoise as an accent color. It is sooo hot right now. I am using it in my bedroom and dining area..want to add a bit to my livingroom...not much...just here and there. Going to ck out pillows tomorrow.
p.s. i'm working on a post as we speak about the color...:)
