My Little Garden

I wanted to share the flowers in my garden with you.

This is my Savannah Bird Girl. She is the watcher of my double Knockout Roses. There are six rose bushes, three on each side.

They are beautiful this year. We have had lots of rain and warm weather this spring.

Six more Knockouts in the front.

Only one lonely pink knockout rose bush.
 It was tagged wrong.

A pair of Whippets stands watch over
the front flower borders. My son bought these for my birthday about twenty years ago. They have traveled to three states and watched over four homes.
The Poppies  are in bloom but not the Shasta daisy.

The Nikko Hydrangeas are just staring to bloom. I have four planted on the north side of my home and they love it.

I have three types of Hosta planted. Blue Angel , Patriot, and Empress Wu

The Japanese Iris is just about finished for the year.

The purple sage  is also tall this year.

I also have a purple sage bush
but it has not bloom yet.

The yellow day lilies are just starting  to pop.
Hope  have you enjoyed  my little flower garden.

This is called Kentucky Bluegrass.
It is a fine bladed grass.
Thanks for stopping in!

  1. Hello JoAnn, Your garden is so beautiful. The Whippets are the perfect watch dogs. My friend raised them. I too have the same hydrangeas and they are just beginning to bloom as well. I will share them soon.

Thank you for joining Blue Monday today.

  3. Jo, everything is so pretty at your house! I love the Blue Grass which is very different from our Bermuda. What is that pink flower right below the day lilies? Is it a rose?

  7. Gorgeous. I want to add some bulbs next year to my little garden. The hydrangeas are gorgeous. I loved it all. Your iris's are gorgeous too. I linked today. Come over and see my little garden. Not as nice as yours. But I'd love you to visit.

  12. Oh your garden is beautiful! You are a step ahead of me. My Japanese Iris are just about to bloom and my first poppy blooms appeared today. I have one red knockout rose that was a gift from my son one Mothers Day. Still just in bud. Yours are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing with SYC and the garden party.
    hugs,

  16. I have enjoyed your garden. You have so many pretty plants. You are smart to remember the names of your hostas. I'm afraid I have not kept up with the varieties I have. I started out 16 years ago keeping a book and that fell by the wayside. I also had markers of my camellias names but they have since faded and I can't see them since the plant has grown so large.
    Happy Gardening.
